Forged fittings are like normal fittings that are produced by the method of forging. We produce a variety of fittings by this process such as elbow, union, cross, couplings, tee, reducer, adapter, connector, swage nipple, olet, bushing, plug, cap, stub ends, and more. These fittings are widely preferred for making or terminating the fluid flow in the piping system. The fittings are designed in a way that provides a secure connection between the pipes. In addition to this, they are used for providing a safe diversion of fluid, gas, and slurries inside the piping system.

The fittings like elbow give a direction change of 22.5, 45, or 90 degrees to the fluid. The couplings are similarly used for connecting the pipes. However, they don’t provide a connection to ordinary pipes but to the broken ones. But there are two types of them-slip and compression couplings. Slip one provides a connection to long ones opposite to the compression coupling.

And to produce all these fittings we use Hastelloy. This alloy is best because of its corrosion resistance property and outstanding resistance to cracking and pitting. As a result, the Hastelloy Forged Fittings are useful in chemical applications. Additionally, the Hastelloy has chromium and molybdenum elements that make the toughest alloy. The high-temperature strength of the Hastelloy remains maintained in the chemically inert atmospheres. Their versatility and corrosion resistance of the Hastelloy made them a widely preferred alloy.
