The selection of Petrochemical Studbolts is vast and designed for critical applications. ASTM A 193 Gr. B-7 bolts, made from Ferritic steel are suitable for high temperature piping systems used for flange joints and in offshore rigs and platforms. SS 316 / AISI 316 bolts are corrosion resistant which is used in high heat and high-stress environments. SS 316L / AISI 316L bolts have lower carbon content for improved weldability and used in extremely harsh operating environments. 316S311 bolts are designed for low-temperature performance but maintains structural stability in flange joints and platforms.
