Copper-nickel is also described as cupronickel alloys which would be frequently utilized in the industry, such as marine applications, because of their superior resistance to seawater corrosion. Cu-Ni Flanges is a form of alloy copper that combines nickel and reinforcing components such as iron and manganese.
These Cu-Ni Flanges have excellent properties, such as superior resistance to the seawater environment and other dangerous elements presented to metals. They also have a resistant property to work against corrosion conditions like pitting, crevice, stress corrosion cracking, and general deterioration. This alloy has excellent toughness and strength with minimum yield strength. These flanges also have improved weldability and machinability properties. This alloy can work in extreme temperatures, from low to high temperatures.
