It is composed of 0.02% carbon, 2% manganese, 1% silicon, 0.04% phosphorus, 0.03% of sulfur, 19% to 23% chromium, 4% -5% of molybdenum, 23% - 28% nickel, and 1 to 2% copper. The specifications of the grade are governed by the ASTM B649 and ASME SB649. This particular product is being widely used for the gas scrubbers, seawater coolers, and in the electrostatic precipitators.
