Inconel 601 is a nickel-chromium alloy used for application requiring resistance to heat and corrosion. These nickel alloys emerge because of its resistance to high temperature oxidation, remaining exceptionally resistant to oxidation through 2200° F.
Alloy UNS N06601 Fasteners adds to a firmly disciple oxide scale which resist spalling even under states of extreme thermal cycling. These nickel alloys holds its ductility after long service exposure and has great high temperature strength. It has outstanding resistance to aqueous corrosion, high mechanical strength, and is promptly shaped, machined and welded. The most important property of Inconel 2.4851 Fasteners is resistance to oxidation at very high temperatures up to 1250 degrees C. Also in extreme conditions such as cyclic heating and cooling.
