Incoloy 825 Fasteners have exceptional resistance to oxidizing and reducing acids due to their high nickel content. They also represent a decent level of resistance to stress corrosion cracking. The combination of molybdenum and copper chemically improves the alloy's corrosion resistance. Incoloy 825 Fasteners Incoloy UNS N08825 Fasteners is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with increments of molybdenum and copper. The nickel steel alloy is engineered to resist various corrosive conditions. Incoloy 825 is similar to Incoloy 800. However, it has enhanced resistance to aqueous corrosion. Alloy 825 Fasteners have high mechanical properties, from cryogenic to moderately elevated temperatures. However, exposure to temperatures above 1000 degrees F can result in microstructural changes that significantly lower ductility and impact strength.
